Yes, I know I never made a post in a while… Kinda been too lazy BUT I still have been painting my nails! Here’s a lazy NOTD post from my iPhone.

Spring is definitely my favorite season for nail polish and this one is amazing! The Essence Color & Go Quick Drying Nail Polish. They are mini size polishes but still a great size! Yesterday I picked a couple of these bad boys up and they are fantastic! You can’t beat the price too, they are so cheap.

This one is You Belong To Me, which is a beautiful tiffany blue color. My go to color for nail polish! It as a bit of white frost to it up close but looks creamy from far. The formula was great, opaque in 2 coats! It went on the same as OPI and Essie nail polishes.

Definitely check out these polishes you will be amazed! Also, be on the look out of the other colors I got.

Nail of the Day: 01/22/12: Sally Hansen Barracuda

Color: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Barracuda

Price: $7.99

This polish is described as a “light tiffany blue” color. I wouldn’t compare it too Essie Borrowed and Blue because Barracuda has a slight hint of turquoise too it. Not as turquoise as Essie Turquoise and Caicos or China Glaze For Audrey.

The formulation was amazing, 2 coats to get it fully opaque and wasn’t streaky like you would suspect. Definitely grab it if you could still find it, because it was limited edition from the Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen Spring 2011 collection.

Nail of the Day 01/04/12: Revlon Gold Coin

Revlon nail polishes just keep amazing me! Seriously, they are $4.00 and they are better than most polishes that can cost up too double or even triple the amount of a Revlon polish.

This one is Gold Coin, which is a metallic gold color. It reminds me of a shiny gold coin on your nails! This polish can be opaque in one coat but of course I always do two… I definitely recommend this polish if your looking a perfect gold color in your collection. It’s a staple!

Nail of the Day 12/11/11: Essie Fiji

Have been slacking here on Tumblr *Slaps Hand*

This one is Essie Fiji, I would describe it as a creamy pale pink polish. I know it’s not terribly unique… But I love this polish, definitely a staple in every girls nail polish collection! It’s one of those polishes you can wear all year around, matches everything and anything. Fiji can be a disaster to work with but just keep in mind it takes 3 coats to apply and it’s a very streaky polish, but the last coat evens it out. Definitely a MUST have!

Nail of the Day 11/27/11: Nicole by OPI Gone Wishin’

I was immediately drawn to this polish because it is so unique and pretty! This one is my first Nicole by OPI nail polish, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Gone Wishin’ is a beautiful mix of blue and purple small glitters. I first applied a black base and then 2 coats of Gone Wishin’ and I love this combo. This polish doesn’t translate well on camera, sometimes it can look more on the blue side or more on the purple side. This polish is perfect for the Christmas time! Soooo freaken pretty!

Nail of the Day 11/23/11: Essie Buy Me a Cameo

Pretty AH-Mazing! Natural nude polish but with a twist!

Buy Me a Cameo is described as a “frosted satin mocha” on Essie’s site! But, I would definitely describe it as a pearly champagne color. Still giving that natural polish look. Beware, this polish can be really tricky to apply! It can look very streaky if there is too much excess polish the the brush, start thin and go up from there. Definitely love this polish for that natural look but it has more too it! B-e-a-utiful!

Nail of the Day 11/13/11: China Glaze Trendsetter

After timeless times searching for this polish. I am proud to announce that the quest is finally over!

This one is Trendsetter, I would describe it like a mustard-y golden yellow with golden shimmer. This polish is definitely one of those ugly/pretty colors, you either love it or hate it! Me personally loves it, its a very unique color you don’t see often! This polish took 2 coats to get it fully opaque. I’m super excited about this polish, Would you try this?

Nail of the Day 11/09/11: OPI Skull & Glossbones

Not gonna lie when I saw Ingrid post a Nail of the Day on this polish on her Tumblr I had an urge to pick it up! I thought this was going to hard to find because this collection came out in the summer. But the first store I checked had it in stock!

Skull & Glossbones is a creamy soft gray color from the Pirates of Caribbean Collection from OPI. I didn’t have any gray polish in my collection surprisely! Skull & Glossbones took me 3 coats to get it fully opaque to my liking, but definitely you can pass with 2 coats and it applies amazing! I thought this polish was going to be more on the thick side but it wasn’t. Definitely going to be a must have polish for the winter time. Would you try this?

Nail of the Day 11/07/11: Essie Smooth Sailing

I recently found this polish in my abyss of polishes. I recall this was one of my favourite polishes in the summer. This color came out in Essie’s Braziliant summer collection, which I think I could still rock in the fall time.

Smoothing Sailing is described of a breezy lavender blue with a reflection of pearl. I definitely think this is the perfect name for this polish! And also it’s very unique, I couldn’t find anything similar to this bad boy. This polish took 2 coats to apply, Would you try this?

Nail of the Day 11/03/11: Revlon Facets of Fuchsia

Finally we meet, Revlon Facets of Fuchsia! If you read my post I did a bit ago called My Fall Nail Polish Wishlist this polish was on that certain list.

Facts of Fuchsia is suspended in a black base with chucky monkey dark purple circular glitter. It took 3 coats to get it fully opaque and to that dark rich black. I definitely recommend this polish for the fall! And for a bonus it is a pretty amazing dupe for the pricey Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance! LOVE LOVE LOVE…
